It's the night before the big trip, it's nearly midnight and I'm just about packed.
On the plus side, driving ourselves means we don't have to worry about airline baggage and weight restrictions. On the negative side, this means I don't have anything to curb my tendency to over-pack, and as such I've already got two suitcases and a holdall just for clothes and toiletries.
If I can get some rest (I'm basically re-enacting that annoying Disney advert where nobody can sleep as they're too excited) then tomorrow will be a nice dull day of mostly driving. If I can't, well... I may have to nap on the ferry!
